Properties and Observations

Non-flammable, toxic and corrosive pale yellowish gas with a pungent odour. Powerful oxidant which may cause fire. Reacts with water or moist air to produce toxic and corrosive fumes. Corrosive to glass and to most metals. Will explode when mixed with hydrogen. Heavier than air (1.3). Highly irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
