Hotlinking to Hazcheck IMDG for Intranet is very easy.
The easiest way is to simply copy the url from your browsers address bar while you are on the page you wish to share.
You can, however, craft your own link following these simple guidelines.
First you will need to get the base url - on this page it will be the current url before /help. This is the route to home page for this application. Everything after this refers to the page within the application.
To link to a chapter append /chapter/ and the chapter number to the url.
For example, to link to chapter 2.1: Class 1 - Explosives you would append /chapter/2.1/ to your base url.
Note: the trailing slash at the end of the url is important.
To link to a paragraph, first follow the guide above to get the link for the chapter to which the paragraph belongs. Then simply append a # followed by the paragraph to the url, after the final trailing slash.
For example, to link to paragraph 5.5.2.3: Marking and placarding (fumigated cargo transport units) you would append /chapter/5.5/#5.5.2.3 to your base url.
To link to a packing, ibc or tank instruction, append /instructions/ and the instruction identifer to the base url.
For example:
/instructions/P205/ to your base url./instructions/IBC03/ to your base url./instructions/T50/ to your base url.
To link to an emergency schedule, append /emergency-schedules/ and the schedule identifier to your base url.
For example, to link to Fire Schedule Delta you would append /emergency-schedules/F-D/ to your base url.
To link to a special provision, append /special-provisions/ and the special provision number to your base url.
For example, to link to Special Provision 62 you would append /special-provisions/62/ to your base url.
Note: links to special provisions will be redirected to the relevant piece of text in chapter 3.3.
To link to the substance in the dangerous goods list, append /dangerous-goods/ and the UN number to the base url.
Note: if the substance has a variant, you should also append the variant to the end of the url, otherwise you will link to the page to choose a variant.
For example, to link to UN 1106 - AMYLAMINE - Packing Group II you would append /dangerous-goods/1106/1/ to your base url.
To link to a substance index search result, append /substance-index/, the language code and the search term to the base url.
Note: the valid language codes are: en for English, fr for French and es for Spanish.
For example, to link to the search results for petrol in English, append /substance-index/en/petrol/ to the base url.
? - to match 0 or 1 characters.
